How do I know how much to feed?

Please read the instructions provided on the Pedigree label which has information on feeding based on body weight/breed and life stage. For further information, call on our toll-free number 1800-4071-12121 Monday to Friday between 08:30am to 05:00pm.

Can I mix IAMS with milk or any other home food?

No. We do not recommend mixing IAMS with milk because of 2 reasons.

* Dogs do not produce enzyme lactase hence poor in digesting Milk.

* IAMS is complete and balanced diet hence adding milk can unbalance the nutrient contents of diet.

After opening the bag there is bad smell of food, why? What to do to avoid it?

Storing pet food is very important to retain flavor and taste. Keeping pet food in sunlight or poor storage conditions can make the product undergo oxidation quickly. Take all possible measures to reduce exposure of pet food to external conditions.

How should I store the IAMS pet food?

Must be stored in clean, cool and dry place in an airtight container. The storage area must be rodent and insect proof. IAMS dog food should not be placed/stored near strong smelling areas or pesticides.We recommend not to expose the bag to sunlight.

How to introduce IAMS dog to my pet?

We recommend the 7 day conversion process. Add some quantity on day 1 and gradually to convert into full meal by day 7 and that fresh water is always available, too quick a change may disturb the pet’s metabolic balance and decreased interest in food
