I have lived with Psoriasis all my adult life. And I have had to stay in hospital many times, to try and control it.
Or, I have had to travel to the hospital daily, once the in-patient unit closed.
Plus light treatment, plus lotions and potions, but Psoriasis has been unstoppable.
I call it THE ENEMY WITHIN.
Knowing I was going to have to travel to the hospital every day, for about a month, and sit there, waiting for the black tar to do its stuff, got me thinking. What could I do to pass the time??
Write a blog. Why not!
So this started in 2017, and I am still writing it now, in 2021.
A lot has happened health-wise since 2017, but that is for another book.
This 2017 book is the beginning.
I hope it makes you laugh, and more importantly, that you can understand a little bit of what it is like, living with Psoriasis. A hidden disease mostly.
Of course, this series of books will become a Holywood movie one day. I shall be played by Angelina Jolie. Or more likely, Miriam Margolyes.
