IATF 16949 : 2016 This standard, which cancels and replaces ISO/TS16949:2009, coupled with the applicable customer-specific requirements, defines the quality management system requirements for automotive production, service and/or accessory parts. New to this update is the inclusion of language on corporate ethics (anti-bribery policy, an employee code of conduct, and an ethics escalation (whistle-blower) policy). IATF 16949 : 2016 is an autonomous QMS standard that is fully aligned with the structure and requirements of ISO 9001:2015. However, it is not a stand-alone document, but is implemented as a supplement to, and in conjunction with, ISO 9001:2015, which must be purchased separately.
